The Park University Gilbert men's volleyball team, faced a challenging match against the Benedictine Mesa Redhawks on March 26, 2025, in Mesa, Ariz. at the BENU PEC. The Buccaneers were unable to secure a victory, losing in straight sets 3-0 (25-14, 25-20,, 25-20.)

Dominic Smith led the Buccaneer offense with 10 kills, closely followed by Azzlyn Potts who added 7 kills and also made significant contributions from the service line with 2 aces. Jonah Baich led the team at the net with a team-high 3 blocks and added 4 kills and 1 ace. Defensive efforts were bolstered by Zac York's 6 digs, while Jake Burdick facilitated the offensive with 16 assists.

Despite this setback, the Buccaneers (1-14, 0-6) remain determined to finish the season strong. The team is next set to face-off against Soka University of America on April 3, 2025, in Aliso Viejo, Calif., The Bucs picked up tis only win of the season earlier this year at home against the Lions 3-0.
