CONCLUSION
The Bucs were hampered all year by injury as they had eight key players miss anywhere from multiple games to the entire season due to injury. The Bucs say goodbye to six seniors who had a major impact on the Bucs run to the playoffs a year ago, including Alynna Palacios who was the 2024-24 GSAC Defensive player of the year. The senior story also included Hayley Valencia who returned to the court after a two-year battle with leukemia and she played her heart out everyday with a smile on her face and a friendly word to everyone around her.Â
The Bucs future does look bright as freshman Symirah Gray has shown flashes of being a volume scorer and Julissa Julmist and Kiley Bush will resturn as senior to help to anchor the post. Leading scorer Allie Cummings is also slated to return along with Jacie Bunck who is redshirted this season after suffering a leg injury early in the season.
