Recap

The Buccaneers jumped out to a 4-0 lead after 3 innings but would not score again as La Sierra would come from behind for a 5-4 win.

The Bucs had six hits over the first three innings in taking the lead including an RBI double by Dylan Fisher, an RBI single from Jimmy Wood and a solo home run from Evan Vander Valk.

But the Bucs could only muster four hits the rest of the way and went hitless over the last three innings, as LSU scored two runs in the fourth and sixth innings and got the go ahead run in the eighth.

In game two the Bucs jumped ahead 4-0 again and again saw their lead evaporate. But this time the Bucs were able to put two runs on the board in the first extra frame to walk away with the win.

Park put a solo run on the board in the second inning and three in the third to jump out to a four-run lead.

LSU came back again adding solo runs in the third and fifth inning and then scored two in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game to send it to extras.

In the eighth with one out, Ben Castellon was hit by a pitch to get things started. Eric Rojo followed with his first career home run; a two-run shot to give the Bucs the lead again.

Jimmy Wood came on in the bottom half of the inning to close out the win for Trey Langan who picked up his first win of the season. Wood secured the win with his first career safe.
